Insulated round plugs are electrical contact elements which are made of sheet metal and usually have a crimp area for the cable connection. Round plugs are available in a wide variety of plug sizes, materials and surfaces, as well as with or without a support sleeve. The variant with a support sleeve usually achieves a higher pull-out force of the stranded wire from the crimp area.
